The flavor of life…
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know how utterly important music is to me. I not only meet my characters through their music, but it gets me through life and makes me feel things more profoundly than almost anything else. So, I decided to share a song and a consumable (or a fashion or recommendation or who the heck knows) in each newsletter. Without music, life would be bland.
The Ultimate Weapon (Havok) + Percussion Massager
So Havok has been on my concert bucket list for way too long. I finally got to see them live, and for the span of their set, all was right with my world. I was up front and not in the pit exactly, but the pit had other ideas. I am bruised, battered, and feel like I was in a train wreck, but it was so worth it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat… however, I am feeling every single one of my 56 years, but my percussion massager is a lifesaver. I highly recommend one of you’re like me and love metal music and being on the floor up close or in the pit. (I think my next will have heat.)
